It's Sunday again!!!!
And we stamp on Sundays.
Today, we're doing and un-girly mani. Who would a thought there was something un-girly about nail design. Hmmmmmm
The most un-girly thing I could think about was sports. Now I know girls take part in sports, but most girly, girly (if you know what I mean) girls don't take part in sports and stay far from it especially those trying to not break a nail.
Now I don't know much about golf. We don't have golf here but to me it looks boring. Maybe it's because I don't understand what's going on. I don't know.
So this is what I came up with. Found these golf clubs (that's what they're called right?) on one of my Cheeky plates from last year's summer collection.
I would not leave the house wearing this combo at all so that's why I consider it to be un-girly.
About Me
- Love My Nails
- Roseau, Dominica
- I love nails and everything nails. This blog will be mostly about nails but I will through in some of my other creative abilities as well. I am from the nature island of the Caribbean Dominica. I live in the city Roseau. I developed and interest in nails since about 12 or maybe even before and I have been into it ever since. I must confess that I took a long break from it for reasons I have no idea. I think I just got lazy for a bit and this is a huge regret I have. But I'll make up for it.

AIS: OMG It's and invation of The Greeks into Troy
Hi
Today's challenge is in reference to an invasion and we're to use our creativity. Go nuts basically.
When I first saw Cheeky's Summer Collection Plate CH49 I remembered the movie Troy. There is a scene where the Greeks are on their way to attack Troy because Paris (a prince of Troy) basically stole Helen the Queen of Sparta. They travel to Troy with about 1000 ships and this stamped image is pretty much what the scene looks like.
I used a simple dark blue color and stamped with konad white. Its not a fancy mani today.
Below is a photo of the scene in the movie I mentioned above.
Till next time xx

Adventures In Stamping - Metallic Madness
The Challenge for Sunday, October 7 is Metallic Madness.
I have some Metallic Polishes but sadly they're from no popular brand. Small price to pay for living on a small island like mine. They don't sell the OPI's and Essence and China Glaze and all those other cool polishes that I see on other blogs but I'm hopeful that one day I'll be able to buy them from somewhere.
The design I chose is from Cheeky's summer collection CH42 and on my ring finger a crazy design (as I like to call it) from an XL Plate. Which is quite fitting if we're doing a madness design.
I stamped with Santee's Rich Gold and was quite surprised with how well it stamped.
I'd say it came out ok. I like it. Even got a compliment from a prominent business man on the island which was quite a shock to me.
Till Next Sunday.

Adventures in Stamping: Using a Frendh Tip Design
This week's challenge at Adventures in Stamping is using a french tip design. I have a couple of tip designs but don't think I've ever used them because it tends to take some practice.
I was in a pink mood (like when am I not anyway) so decided to use Santee's Baby Pink and Beach Pink. I inverted the colours on the middle finger and used Konad M45 for the tip. The full image is from and XL Stamping Plate.
It's the first time I've actually stamped over a stamped image (is that called layering? I'm not sure) but I've wanted to try it for a while now. I see others doing it and pulling out some super awesome manis. I'm going to keep at it and try to bring out the creative side of me. I usually just do simple stamping but when I see what others are doing it makes me realise that the possibilities are sooo endless

Adventures in Stamping - Can't wait for fall
I've joined the facebook group Adventures in Stamping. Every Sunday there's a new challenge and this week's was Can't wait for fall. We had do so something depicting fall or using fall colours.
I started with a light base form The Color Workshop (it appears to have no name) and just stamped leaves from my xl plate and Konad m20. It doesn't look half bad. I was going to do a sponge base but then did don't like the look to much so went with a solid base instead.
This is what it looks like.
