I've just completed Module for of my programme with the Academy of Nail Designs. Quite interesting I'd say. Most people don't think that Client Assessments are necessary at the Nail Salon but it is. I used to think that you just ensure that the person don't have diabetes so something and move along with it. But there are other important questions that must be asked in order to provide the best service as well as to get to know your client better.
This reminds me that I have to search for salon software because I am not so much a paper and pen girl and not feel like designing anything when there is stuff that's designed already which I'm sure looks cooler than an excel sheets.
Got a 90% on the test and that two that I got wrong I thought I answered correctly but the questions I guessed kind of tricked me or something. The English language can be so funny sometimes. But its all good at least I passed an can move on to the next module Chemical and Salon Safety. Probably one of the most important part of the programme. Who want to go to a salon which looks like a health hazard anyway. So.... lets see what I learn.
About Me
- Love My Nails
- Roseau, Dominica
- I love nails and everything nails. This blog will be mostly about nails but I will through in some of my other creative abilities as well. I am from the nature island of the Caribbean Dominica. I live in the city Roseau. I developed and interest in nails since about 12 or maybe even before and I have been into it ever since. I must confess that I took a long break from it for reasons I have no idea. I think I just got lazy for a bit and this is a huge regret I have. But I'll make up for it.

Welcome
Hi Everyone
I am Niomi Remy a proud West Indian from the Commonwealth of Dominica. My intentions here is to share with you my passion which is Nails. I decided to start a blog in the hope that I'd keep me in check, you know help me be less of a procrastinator and be more committed to things that I start off.
I am a student of the Academy of Nail Design which is and on line school and so far I am enjoying the programme. Even there, I have step up and be more committed and put in a bit more time so I can complete this course.
I love nail art/nail designing. And will share as I learn and as I try out some cool products that I have purchased and planning to purchase. The nail industry is growing and showing no signs of slowing down. I am so excited to be a part of this fun industry. I'm thankful for the Internet because I never know there was so much going on. Though my small island is not a backward island, there is still a lot of the fun products I see on line available here.
I also love doing embroidery, making jewellery with beads and will be sharing about this as well.
